Binding

Binding is one of the elements of the finishing process of any printed book or pamphlet. There are many binding methods, some of which are automated and some of which can only be completed by hand.

Saddle stitching- Saddle or wire stitching is the most common, and one of the cheapest, binding techniques. Printed sheets are bound by passing one or more metal wires, or staples, through the pages and covers. The two most frequent methods of saddle stitching are spine stitching or flat stitching.
